It is important to plan your revision as it makes keeping track of what you've covered a whole lot easier.

This is why you should have some sort of revision planner:

It is best to have an exercise book for revising and in the back of this book put a subject header on each page for each exam you are preparing for (eg: French, Media, Maths, Biology etc). Then write out the topics for each subject (eg under the heading 'Physics' you may write 'Forces' for your first topic). Make sure that you have plenty of space after what you have written.

Then when you have revised that topic (it may be a certain page in your revision guide) you can tick it. You may wish to use page numbers from revision materials instead to identify the topic Then to the left of the topic put something that idicated how much work this topic needs and how confident you are with it (this may be smiley faces or a 1-5 scoring system: 5 you know it spot on 1 you hardly know anything). The reason you need to leave space after the topic is so you can tick the topic more than once, depending on how many times you have revised it (one tick = one time you have revised it).
